2.Requirements & WordPress Set Up

WordPress CMS
You need a WordPress installation on your website to use our theme.
WordPress Installation
General steps to install WordPress CMS to your site
- Download the latest WordPress version from https://wordpress.org/download/
- Upload the zip file to your website root folder and unzip
- Create a database (using your hosting panel)
- Set up WordPress.
3.Theme Installation
To install “Portfolio One Pro” Theme with the WordPress Dashboard, please follow the steps:
- Login to WordPress Admin dashboard.
- Go to Appearance > Themes.
- Click on ‘Add New’ button and then on ‘Upload Theme’ button.
- Click on ‘Choose file’ button and select the previously downloaded theme zip file.
- Click on ‘Install Now’ button and Activate it.
- You have successfully installed the Theme.
4.Demo Import
If you are new and your website is new, the best process to start configuring is by importing our pre-made demo content. Once you import the demo you can replace it with your real contents later.
Before importing demo, make sure that you have installed and activated the required plugins for this theme.
And for the premium theme, you will get a separate plugin for Elementor, which adds new widgets to the Elementor editor; you will have to install and activate it first.
To import the demo, follow the following steps:
- Go to your dashboard and navigate to Appearance > Portfolio One Info
- Click on Import Demo
- If you have not installed and activated the CWW Companion plugin you will be asked to do it.
- After that, you will be able to see demos, select the demo you like to import and click Import Demo
- Install the plugins shown on the popup to import the demo and go to the next step and the import process will start.
After successful import, you can view your website and start editing it.
5.Adding Site Identity
Go to Appearance > Customize
Click on Site Identity , upload the logo for your website. Also you can add site title and tagline.
6.Header Options
The theme comes with predefined 4 different header layout, you can switch to any layout to meet your design needs. For header settings
go to Appearance > Customize

Click on “Header Options”

Here you can switch between different header layouts. Change typography and color for menus.
6.1.Create Menu
To add menus on your website go to
Appearance > Menus
and give name to your menu, and add some menu items form left side. You can add pages, posts or add custom links there.
And then click on “Create Menu”.

Once you create your menu, you have to set display location for menu.
Under “Menu Settings” click on “Primary Menu”

6.2.Menu Icons
You can add icons to your menu to give it an elegant look. Go to
- Appearance > Menus
- Click on the menu and expand it
Here you will see an option to add menu icons, select any available icons, and save the settings
7.Sidebar Settings
You can add or hide sidebars on your pages as needed. To manage sidebars, go to
Appearance > Customize
and click on “Sidebar Settings”
Here you will get options for sidebars.
8.Additional Options
From additional options you can manage different settings like Dark/Light mode, Social Icons, Scroll To Top etc,
Go to Appearance > Customize
and then click on “Additioal Options”
8.1.Dark / Light Mode
The theme comes with built in option to mange dark/light mode toggle switch. For this go to
Appearance > Customize
and then click on “Additional Optios”
there you will see option for Dark/Light mode
Don’t forget to upload logo to use on dark mode, from the setting.
8.2.Profile Card
Profile card is a beautiful toggle button, which when clicked, gives visitors will get option to contact you. To access this
Go to Appearance > Customize
and then click on “Additional Options”
after that click on “Profile Card”
8.3.Advanced Options
From advanced optios you can disable loading of some unwanted styles and icons pack which comes with the theme. If you don’t use those, you can completely disable loading them on your website.
Go to Appearance > Customize
and click on “Additional Options”
after that click on “Advanced Options”
9.Footer Settings
You can access footer settings from
Appearance > Customize
and click on “Footer Settings”
Here you can manage footer settings, and also you can select Elementor template as footer template
