1.Getting Started
Welcome to Sticky Floating Forms plugin! This plugin allows you to add sticky CTA buttons on your website that display contact forms. This is useful to catch the attention of your site visitor and never miss any messages or contacts from your website. This plugin is an add-on for the contact form 7 plugin but also works well with all major popular form plugins like WP Forms, Gravity Forms, Ninja Forms etc.
2.Installation
First, you have to purchase the Sticky Floating Forms plugin.
After a successful purchase of the plugin, you will get an email with your plugin file. After downloading the product please follow the following steps for installation.
- Navigate to the WordPress dashboard and go to Plugins > Add New Plugin.
- Click on Upload Plugin.
- Select the zip file you downloaded recently
- Click on Install Now
- Click on Activate Plugin.
After activating the plugin you will get a new menu Sticky Floating Forms in your admin area. You can customize your plugin from there.
3.General Configuration
If you are using Contact Form 7, follow the following steps:
Navigate to the dashboard and go to Sticky Floating Forms > Content.
Select “Contact Form 7” as a form source.
Select the form which you want to use.
click on the “Save Settings” button.
If you are using plugins other than Contact Form 7 like WPForms, Gravity Forms, Ninjs Forms, etc, follow the following steps to add the shortcode provided by the plugin:
- Install and activate the form plugin that you want to use.
- Navigate to the dashboard and go to Sticky Floating Forms > Content.
- Select “Other Forms” from the “Form Source” select option. The “Form Shortcode” input field will appear.
- Enter the form shortcode provided by the plugin.
- Click on “Save Settings” button.
4.Content Settings
From the “CONTENT” tab, you can manage general content settings like selecting the form to use, header content, button text, button icon, etc.
customize the provided options as your requirement and click on “Save Settings” button.
5.Design Settings
The “DESIGN” tab of the Sticky Floating Forms plugin offers the following options:
- The Position option allows you to choose the button position on the screen ( bottom right, bottom left, left center, and right center).
The options shown in the image below control the typography and styles of the button(Main CTA Button).
The “Form Container” field controls the background and size of the form.
The “Form Input Fields” fields control the size, styles and typography of the form input fields.
The “Submit Button” fields control the size and styles of the submit button of the form.
6.Display Rules
The “DISPLAY RULES” tab of the Sticky Floating Forms plugin offers to display onlyl on selected pages, posts and on default WordPress pages:
- “Default WordPress Pages” option offers to show the form only on selected WordPress pages. To choose the default WordPress page, click on the input field of it. A list of WordPress pages will be shown. Select single or multiple pages as your requirement.
- “Selected Pages Only” option offers to show the form on selected pages only. To choose the page, click on the input field. A list of available pages will be shown. Select single or multiple pages as your requirement.
- “Selected Posts Only” option offers to show the form on selected posts only. To choose the post, click on the input field. A list of posts that you have created will be shown, select single or multiple posts as your requirement.
- “Display Only For Logged-In Users” allows you to display the CTA button only for Logged-In users.
7.Import & Export
If you have customized the settings as your requirement on a local development(stagging) site or production site and want the same settings to another site, you can easily transfer the settings through the “Import & Export” feature. You don’t need to customize the settings again so that your time will be saved. To do this, follow the following steps:
- Navigate to the WordPress dashboard where you have customized the plugin settings and go to Sticky Floating Forms > Import & Export.
- Click on “Click To Copy” button to copy the code provided by “Export” field.
- Open the Import & Export in your another website where you want to use same settings.
- Paste the code in the input area of the “Import” field and click on “Import Settings”.
- Click on the “Save Settings” button.

Can I Use any other Form Plugin rather than Contact Form 7?
-> Sure you can use any form plugins, for sticky floating forms. Our plugin allows you to add shortcode which will display any contact forms you prefer to use.
