1.Installation
After a successful purchase of the plugin, you will get an email with your plugin file. After downloading the product please follow the following steps for installation.
- Go to Plugins >> Add New
- Click Upload Plugin
- Select the zip file you downloaded recently
- Click on Install Now
- Activate the plugin
After activating the plugin you will get a new menu Sticky Floating Forms in your admin area. You can customize your plugin from there.
2.General Configuration
Before going through the plugin setting make sure that you have installed & activated the Contact Form 7 plugin and created a form there.
Note: You can use any contact form plugin, we have tested our plugin with the contact form 7 plugin so here in this documentation you will get contact form 7 word repeatedly so don’t be confused about it. Our plugin still has a feature to use any forms plugin.
Go to the Sticky Floating FormsĀ menu from your admin dashboard.
Content Settings:
From the content tab, you can manage general content settings like selecting the form to use, button text, button icon, etc.
Select the form which you want to use. Please note that you also can add a shortcode of the plugin if your forms are not listed there.
Once you have customized your settings you have to save the settings using the Save Settings button.
Design Settings:
From the Design tab, you can manage fonts, colors, positions for the forms & toggle button. Here you also have options to auto-open forms like on page load, on scrolling some portion of the screen and while the user is about to close the browser tab, etc.
Display Rules:
From the plugin display rules, you can specify where to display the form, if you want to display it on a specific page this feature is useful to you. Like if you want to display the form only on the contact page you can do it from here.
Import & Export:
You can easily import & export plugin settings from one site to another using the import & export feature on the plugin. Like you can customize plugin settings on your local development site and later on copy settings and move them to your production site. It will consume your time.
